Conclusion¶
The async implementation of Layer2 protocols has delivered substantial performance improvements across all metrics. The system is now capable of handling significantly higher loads with lower latency, making it suitable for production environments with demanding performance requirements.
These improvements have been achieved while maintaining backward compatibility with the synchronous API, allowing for a smooth transition for existing implementations.
